The results will help us establish priority areas and then develop informed campaigns and action plans for local areas in collaboration with community partners.

Household beach clean kits
There are five people in my household who all walk our dog and care about the ocean and litter If we had a supply of a litter picker, gloves and some black bags we would litter pick on every dog walk We also have a beachhut and if we had the same set of kit at the hut we could do the same every time we were there Give locals the power to pick when they can if they want to

More litter bins are desperately needed during the summer months where there is a huge increase in waste. Overflowing bins spread litter.

Talking bins
As a child I visited a theme park in the Netherlands which had litter bins shaped like animals with large mouths. With every piece of litter that landed in the bin, the bin broadcast a recorded message of thanks in several languages. There was no litter anywhere. Definitely an idea that coastal areas of the UK should trial.
