Draft Swanage Seafront Masterplan: Feedback Survey-(copy)

This survey is open to all Swanage residents and visitors to Swanage and it is an opportunity for people to feed back into the process.  Please read the masterplan before you take the survey.

The vision of the the Swanage Seafront masterplan is:

"To ensure that Swanage seafront remains a well-loved, well-maintained safe family place that celebrates the distinct heritage and culture of Swanage, whilst improving its infrastructure to support increased accessibility, sustainability, year-round tourism, and a vibrant local economy."

Create a pedestrian friendly open space as part of flood defence improvements on Pier Approach/ Lower High St.

Flood defence improvement scheme to add benefit to local area
Redesign site of former bus shelter (tarmac area in front of children’s fun park) into attractive, interactive, and multifunctional space
Accessible beach
Explore traffic management improvements on Shore Road and the potential to widen the promenade
Improved seating and shelter
Beach recharge
Banjo Jetty Improvements

Redesign of Sandpit and Weather Station Fields
